Milena Stott founded Principle Allies in 2019 with the goal of bringing driven consultants together who want to use their talent to tackle tough social problems. After working as a clinician and later leader, she observed all the things that must come together to ensure good health outcomes. She wanted to use her passion for community organizing and skill set in administration to scale potential beyond one organization.

With a passion for social work and an interest in business practices, she sought education and training in the business world and became certified as an Executive Leader in Social Impact. Soon after she partnered with business colleagues to develop a portfolio of clients leading her to start her own practice. That’s how she met Tasha. With their shared interests, they were off to a running start.

Tasha leverages her MBA and experience in both nonprofit and for-profit healthcare sectors to provide strategic consulting that bridges vision and execution. She helps nonprofit healthcare organizations refine strategy, strengthen operational infrastructure, and develop financially resilient models that support high-quality, mission-driven care.

Nonprofit work is hard. In the social sciences field, our work is not driven by profit. As such, education is centered around the concepts we need to work with people. Put simply, the skills of an MSW clinician are different from those with an MBA. Yet, as organizations, nonprofits compete in the same market as for-profits. Aligning public and private interests can be a challenge.

We team up as consultants with complementary experience. As two female leaders fiercely driven by social mission, Milena’s daughter nicknamed us “Mighty Girls” so sometimes you’ll hear us use that as well!
